Vision
The Democratic Women’s Leadership Council was founded in March of 2004. An affiliate of the Monroe County Democratic Committee, the group is dedicated to creating a strong, inclusive voice within the Monroe County Democratic Committee, in order to promote women candidates, develop political platforms and take necessary action to improve the lives of all women in Monroe County.Goals
The Council’s purpose is to:- Call attention to women’s issues.
- Influence elected officials to make legislative decisions that will improve the quality of women’s lives.
- Motivate more women to become politically active.
- Foster debate/discussion.
- Serve the Community.

Events
Monthly Meetings: We generally meet the second Monday of each month, 5:30PM at Democratic Headquarters (1150 University Avenue).Other events as scheduled.
