• Absentee Ballots: June 23rd Primary

For the June 23rd (06/23/20) primary in New York State, every registered voter in the state will be allowed to vote using a mail-in absentee ballot.

In order to receive a ballot, an application must still be filled out. Per another Executive Order by the Governor, all registered voters in New York State will be sent an absentee ballot application with postage already paid for, in the mail. This application is not the ballot itself and must be filled out and submitted in order to recieve an absentee ballot to vote in the June 23rd Primary.

As a second option, however, New York State registered voters in Monroe County can fill out an electronic application online at the Monroe County Board of Elections website. The link to that application is here.

When filling out the online application, follow the instructions at the top of the page, and begin the application by checking the box for “temporary illness.”

You can call (585) 232-2410 to speak with a representative of the Monroe County Democratic Committee or call the Monroe County Board of Elections Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. at (585) 753-1550 with any questions.

Once again, the online application for Monroe County registered voters to apply for an absentee ballot for the June 23rd primary can be accessed here.

All ballots for the June 23rd NYS primary will be mailed out approximately 30-45 days before the primary date.
